Equilex is a leading distribution and marketing company in high olefins and other chemical products.
Equilex was incorporated in 2000 between the two founding partners : Joss Holding company, a chemicals trading firm based in Alkmaar (the Netherlands) and AJV International, a chemicals agency from Aix-en-Provence (France)Since 2007 , Equilex is fully owned by AJV International.
Equilex headquarters, including Finance, Logistic and Administration group, are located in Holland. Commercial and business development departments operate from France.
Equilex has quickly specialized in High Olefins marketing, covering the European market and rapidly Asia, where the major merchant market was located.
The company has developed long term contracts or close ties with major suppliers and is servicing all the industry in bulk parcels or containers.
Equilex has then embarked in more specialized product lines starting with organic peroxides imported into Europe from China and continues its diversification towards specialty chemicals, such as resins, Branched and Linear Alkylbenzenes and Alkylphénol.
Equilex’s product portfolio is still growing, in a constant effort to adapt to the market evolution and to best fit its customer’s requirements.
